Still the best bakery in the Hudson Valley. If you are celebrating anything, this is the place to go. The custom, personalized cakes are show stoppers, and besides that, they are the most delicious cakes you will ever taste. These are not supermarket cakes. They are each works of art that are well worth the cost. If you want to be amazed, just order one for your next holiday. They do not take credit cards, but will take cash or check.

Oh yeah, real French breads, quiches, pastries and the like are all to be had at Jean-Claudes. Although there are a couple of small tables and you can also order coffee, and have a friendly chat with the owner, this is mostly a shop and go kind of place. If you're not familiar with the area this small storefront can be hard to find as it's tucked into a little strip mall, behind the Burger King on Rt 94 (Main St) in Warwick.
